Cancellation policy

This policy explains how to cancel standard orders, subscriptions, and pre-orders placed at Home By Touch.

1) Standard Orders (one-time purchases)

  • Cancel window: You may cancel within 12 hours of purchase or before the order status changes to Fulfillment in progress/Label created.

  • How to cancel: Reply to your order confirmation email or contact info@homebytouch.shop with your order number and the word CANCEL in the subject line.

  • After the window: If the order has shipped, it can’t be canceled. You may return it under our Return Policy (shipping costs are not refundable).

Address changes: Send updates to info@homebytouch.shop within the same 12-hour window. Once a label is created, we can’t change the address.

Refused/undeliverable packages: We can reship (customer pays reship fee) or process a refund minus shipping once the package returns to us.


2) Subscriptions (Shopify Purchase Options / Appstle)

  • Manage anytime: Use the “Manage Subscription” link in your order email or log in to your store account to cancel, pause, or skip deliveries.

  • Billing cut-off: Changes made less than 24 hours before your next renewal may apply to the following cycle.

  • Immediate cancellations: When you cancel, the change stops future renewals. Any order already processed will ship as scheduled.

  • Skips & pauses: You can skip a delivery or pause your plan at any time before the 24-hour cut-off.

  • Bundle/Subscription promos: If a discount required a minimum number of cycles and you cancel early, we may charge back the discount or convert it to store credit.

3) Pre-Orders (Shopify Purchase Options)

  • Cancel any time before we notify you that your order is preparing to ship.

  • If production has begun or a limited item is allocated to you, cancellation may be refunded as store credit (we’ll state this on the pre-order product page).

  • Timeline changes: Estimated ship dates are subject to change. If we miss the window by more than 14 days, you can request a full refund.


4) Items that can’t be canceled or refunded

  • Gift Cards (digital or physical): Final sale and non-refundable, except where required by law.

  • Personalized/custom items created to your specification once production has started.


5) Refund method & timing

Approved cancellations/refunds are issued to the original payment method. Banks typically post credits within 5–10 business days after we process them.
